Jim Morgan is the Vice President of Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. He is responsible for the Association’s education activities and runs the WMC Foundation. This includes WMC’s efforts in workforce development, working with local chambers of commerce, highlighting business best practices, promoting workplace safety, and Business World. He works on educating both business people and educators on the state’s school-to-work initiative aimed at preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s workforce. Jim speaks on a variety of topics ranging from Wisconsin's economy to issues affecting the state's competitiveness to economic development.
Jim, his wife, and three children are from Madison. He enjoys coaching high school sports (and has at Madison Edgewood, Madison West and Verona) and has truly enjoyed coaching his own children in baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer. He also enjoys playing those sports and tries very hard not to get hurt while doing so.
